The 21-day Standard Process Purification Program isn’t just a cleanse diet. It’s a structured program that brings healthy lifestyle habits into focus.It’s designed to purify, nourish, and help patients maintain a healthy body weight. It’s also easy to follow by eating whole foods, exercising, drinking nutritious shakes, and taking supplements made with whole food and other ingredients.The menu includes a varied abundance of fresh vegetables and fruits for the first 10 days, with select proteins added on day 11. The supplements support the body’s ability to remove naturally occurring toxins. This promotes a state that allows for toxin release.The 21 Day yoga program has 1-2 yoga class recommendations for each day. Some of the classes are as little as 10minutes while others are 60min in length. If there is a day or class that is too intense or not intense enough you can always track back to a previous class from the day before and practice what feels good in the moment. Along with your 21 day class pass you will also have 1 month access to Pure Serenity Yoga’s full library of over 90 yoga classes, mediationas, HIIT workouts and more! I just finished this cleanse myself. This was the longest cleanse I have ever done and I honestly did not think I would be able to stick to it. The first few days were tough for me, I felt more tired and sluggish than usual. I felt a bit bloated the first week and even gained a pound in the beginning. My body was stubbornly holding onto toxins and did not want to let go! On day 6 I started to feel absolutely incredible! My skin was glowing, my energy was fantastic and my stomach started to really flatten out. By day 10 I had lost 3lbs (which doesn’t sound like a lot but for me and my body type it was just about perfect.) On day 11 I added small amounts of meat back into my diet and followed some of the recipes in the book which were great! I continued to feel great, I added tougher workouts back into my routine and by the end I had lost 10lbs. I continue to keep that added weight off and am motivated to eat clean on a daily basis. I’m active and young with no major health issues but was slowly gaining weight – about ten pounds over the course of two years. Not horrible but as an athlete you know your body so well and get frustrated when you can’t control it. I had tried reducing cals, probably reduced too much, and tried low carb and it never worked – always felt tired.
I was skeptical – it’s a lot of fruits and veggies and shakes – and I’m not the biggest fan of veggies – and I was starting marathon training and concerned about getting enough calories. I did this cleanse and it was awesome! It’s only three weeks … just 21 days! I lost a total of 8 pounds (that’s a big deal for me) and was able to fit into my favorite jeans again. I wasn’t tired during my runs and never had bad cravings. I did cheat one night and had some wine, but that’s fruit right? Lol.
It is expensive but I don’t think there is any other natural program out there that can yield these results. Once you’re done, it is easy to maintain your results – stick to a clean diet (avoid processed carbs) and stay active and your liver will metabolize everything!
I’m going to do it again – once a year – to just get right and keep me on track.
Let me start off by saying Megan Aaron has been a beautiful soul since I first met her about two years ago through yoga. She has an amazing spirit and giving heart that shines to all who meet her. When I found out she was doing a Standard Process 21-Day Purification Program I was curious. I know she is in shape and that health is a priority to her – so I knew I would not be getting into anything that would harm my body in any way, but a helpful reset and lifestyle.
I did not sign up right away, I had questions because of my prior experiences with “cleanses” and “supplementation” and what I consider to be many yo-yo quick fixes that do not last and could be very harmful to your body long-term.
To go into some of my personal background, my parents have always prioritized health as a family. We stayed active and seemed to eat fairly clean. Of course I do remember McDonalds, soda, and snacks around – but we believed in health spiritually, mentally, and physically. I played outside, played sports, lifting weights, cardio, you name it – and continue to do so to this day. I incorporated hot yoga about ten years ago, became obsessed, and became a 200 hour instructor. But something has been off the past few years. My diet is not consistent, I went through eating disorders, my gut felt all out of whack and just felt awful and needed a change DESPERATELY. After discussing the Standard Process program in full detail as far as products, layout of timing, her personal success story, and so forth, I wanted to give it a go.
The first 10 days were hard for me because I have always been a meat fanatic, so I had to learn more fruit, veggie, and legume options/recipes. I was thankful many recipes are provided through the program booklet and website. I was struggling at the beginning, but challenged myself onward because I kept feeling better and better. The remaining 10 days were a lot easier for me as meat was introduced. I try to refrain from sugars anyhow, but appreciate that dates could be my dessert! I also have to mention my birthday was day 7 of this process, which was tough, but it is possible to accomplish anything you put your mind to!
Another very important part of the program is the journal and the weekly check-in calls. It is important to be able to share feelings, recipe options, struggles, anything! I needed the discipline to write down every day my meals, checking the boxes that I took my supplements, water, exercise, my mood, and any other notes.
Upon completion, I felt amazing! My body felt so clean, so light, so happy, so pure – it is hard to explain! This is not a diet program, it is a lifestyle change. I used to not care much for organic, but my body responded so well to CLEAN eating. I lost most of my weight in the first 4 days, then an overall 10+ by completion day! Definitely be careful introducing foods post completion as I loved cheese and nuts which were not included, as well as celebrating for dinner afterwards – oops! I have noticed a huge change though, I do not snack and crave on meats/cheeses/nuts/etc like I used to, I crave more veggies and broths of all things – who knew!
I not only recommend, but HIGHLY recommend this program for anyone and everyone! Your body is a temple, invest in it because you only get one! :)
